ASC Training & Development is a long-term client of Quisk Design. Our partnership with ASC Training & Development began in July 2019, when they first approached us to manage their social media presence, and we quickly developed a strong working relationship. The initial engagement focused on social media management, where we worked to improve their visibility, engagement, and overall online presence. Through this collaboration, we established ourselves as a reliable partner who understood their brand values and objectives.
As trust between our teams grew, ASC Training & Development began to seek our expertise for other aspects of their digital and marketing needs. We were soon tasked with running Meta Advertising Campaigns, which helped to drive traffic and generate leads for their training programs. These campaigns were designed to align with their strategic goals, ensuring their marketing efforts reached the right audience and delivered results.
Beyond social media and advertising, our scope expanded to include several design projects that further strengthened their brand identity. We created a sleek and professional email signature design, developed the ASC Live logo, and designed a course brochure template that encapsulated the quality and versatility of ASC Training & Development offerings. Each of these projects showcased our ability to meet ASC Training & Development’s evolving needs and add value through tailored creative solutions.
Quisk also provided basic web maintenance services to their previous site. As their digital needs grew, we created a branded email marketing template to support their communication efforts, ensuring consistency and professionalism across all digital channels.
In 2022, ASC Training & Development realised that its website was no longer meeting its needs. The site’s functionality was outdated, leading to a loss of potential leads and a drop in engagement. Having known about our legendary abilities as web developers in Adelaide for some time, ASC Training & Development engaged Quisk Design to fix this and permitted us to overhaul its web presence completely.

ASC Training & Development’s previous website, built on WordPress, had several limitations that were holding the organisation back from reaching its full potential. While WordPress can be a popular platform, it often comes with inherent challenges, particularly for growing businesses with complex needs. The ASC Training & Development site was no exception—managing and updating it had become increasingly cumbersome, and its lack of flexibility was becoming a serious hindrance. The rigid template structure made it difficult for their team to make the necessary changes quickly and efficiently, which meant that their digital presence was not evolving in line with their expanding services.
One of the major pain points was the course structure section of the site. This area, crucial for both users and administrators, had become tangled and messy. The information was not organised clearly and intuitively, making it difficult for potential clients to find the courses they were looking for. For administrators, managing and updating the course listings was inefficient and time-consuming, leading to unnecessary delays and frustration.
Finally, the site's overall navigation was proving confusing for users. With no clear path to key information, visitors often struggled to find what they needed. This poor user experience was directly impacting lead generation, as frustrated visitors were more likely to abandon the site before making an inquiry or booking a course.
ASC Training & Development wanted a solution that enabled seamless user interaction, drove course enrolments, and improved engagement. The new website also needed to make it clear that courses are fully customisable to suit the unique needs of client departments or groups, making training more relevant and impactful through innovative technology like blended learning and VR integration.

To address these challenges, Quisk Design embarked on what ended up being a 12-month project that began in early 2023, with the new website going live in July 2024. This project was characterised by collaboration between Quisk’s Adelaide web developers’ team and ASC Training & Development’s key stakeholders, including Prakhar Jain (Learning Design & Development Consultant), Sharon Ayris (CEO), and Tony Stone (Managing Director). The new website introduced various features that directly responded to their needs.
Our project process for developing the new website began with the creation of Y-frame mockups. These mockups served as a blueprint, allowing for in-depth layout analysis and content organisation before any construction work commenced. By visualising the structure early on, we could collaborate with ASC Training & Development’s team to ensure that every element was strategically placed and the website would meet user needs and business objectives. This step also allowed us to address any potential content challenges upfront, helping to streamline the development process.
A major focus of the redesign was building a flexible template that would accommodate a variety of page layouts and user interface (UI) elements. This flexibility provided ASC Training & Development with the versatility needed to manage different types of content and keep the website dynamic with consistent branding and functionality across multiple page types.
To enhance the site’s visual appeal and ensure consistency with the existing identity, we developed a style board. This included a review of their current iconography and the creation of new icons that aligned with their updated digital presence. Additionally, we produced new branding assets such as background textures, patterns, and graphical elements, which helped elevate the overall aesthetic of the site while keeping it visually cohesive.
One of the key tasks was creating cards for each course, designed to highlight the specifics at a glance. These cards provide users with essential information quickly and clearly, improving the overall user experience. Paired with course filtering functionality, visitors can now easily browse and find the training programs that are most relevant to their needs, making the process of discovering and booking courses seamless.
Due to budgetary restraints, the client wanted to populate their new site themselves. Quisk was happy to oblige and worked with ASC Training & Development’s staff to train them on the Craft content management system, enabling them to independently manage and upload new content.
Quisk provided direction for photography to a referred videographer to ensure the people-focused and approachable nature of ASC Training & Development was reflected in their new online presence.

Since the launch of the new website, ASC Training & Development has seen a significant improvement in lead generation and user engagement. With its online booking capabilities and interactive course offerings, the modernised website has dramatically enhanced the customer experience, positioning ASC Training & Development as a forward-thinking leader in the training and development sector.
